Front Desk/Office Assistant

We are hiring a Front Desk/Office Assistant position for two locations – Sanford, Maine and Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. The ability to go to either location is desired.

Responsibilities of the job include:

· Greeting and checking patients in

· Managing patient paperwork

· Scheduling appointments

· Accepting payments

· Entering patient data

· Turning over treatment rooms

· Answering calls and emails

· Light cleaning, laundry, and stocking

Applicants should be good at multitasking, friendly and personable, passionate about holistic health, energetic and organized. Administrative experience is preferred, insurance billing experience is a plus. Proficiency with data entry and word processing programs is a must – computers with Windows operating systems and iPads are both used.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour

Education:

Experience:

  • Administrative: 1 year (Preferred)

  • Customer Service: 2 years (Required)
Full-time or Part-time Acupuncturist

Must:

  • Have a friendly personality
  • Be passionate about Chinese Medicine and confident in the medicine
  • Have a desire to help patients on their path to healing
  • Be reliable, punctual, self-motivated, and willing to work as a team
  • Be willing to continue learning and researching difficult cases
  • Be NCCAOM certified
  • Hold a valid acupuncture license in New Hampshire and/or Maine
  • Be able to run two to three treatment rooms while maintaining a punctual schedule
  • Want to cultivate long-term relationships with patients

Responsibilities include:

  • Taking new patient in-takes and determining the proper treatment plan
  • Providing follow up treatments and reassessments according to the treatment plan
  • Keeping accurate and thorough charts in our EHR system that are compliant with insurance requirements
  • Providing accurate diagnosis and procedure codes for billing

We are looking for a practitioner that wants to join our team long term. We are flexible in the days and hours. Pay will be hourly and per patient and will depend on experience. Massage Therapist

Atwell Acupuncture and Holistic Health is looking for a Licensed Massage Therapist to join our wellness team.  We are growing quickly and are excited to offer more options for our patients’ health and wellness.  Scheduling, marketing and billing are handled by our staff allowing the therapist to focus on treatment.

Licensed Massage Therapist Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with patients and staff
  • Work as a team with other practitioners to meet the patients’ healthcare goals
  • Provide massages to patients by appointment
  • Keep thorough and timely SOAP notes in our EHR with a detailed patient history
  • Evaluate patients to determine painful or stressed areas of the body and treat accordingly
  • Advise patients on stretching, strengthening or relaxation techniques
  • Help create and/or maintain a treatment plan for the patient
  • Guide patients through our services to determine which massages or modalities would benefit them the most
  • Listen to patients’ feedback during treatments and adjust accordingly
  • Adhere to state licensing laws and regulations
  • Carry individual liability insurance

Licensed Massage Therapist Qualifications:

  • Be licensed in the State of New Hampshire
  • Have good communication skills with patients and other practitioners
  • Demonstrate good customer service skills
  • Be punctual, enthusiastic and professional in appearance

Candidates:
The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 1 year of Massage Therapy experience working with a variety of patients and
    health conditions
  • A license to practice Massage Therapy in New Hampshire
  • Familiarity with documentation appropriate for insurance billing

Compensation:

  • Pay will be per hour plus compensation per service
